There is fire in these rains
But ice in its showers
May be we should cry with our legs facing heaven
And our heads buried in the ground
Our tears might fall upward then
Defying gravity and
Soaring higher like
Undying burning flames
We're guessing its
The only way to God's presence

Conflict bound souls
Wail our call to surrender
Omnipresent!
Omnipresent!
Desensitize our agonies
Let flow thou stream of fire
In our hearts and souls
Like the swooping mighty eagle
And those years
Of fear in red tears
Be washed away of a life
Never to live again
