The Day That Danced With The Sea

Often beauty is found in the most basic aspects of nature. Overlooked, but once seen, you can never forget it. One night, I watched a sunset where the sun danced with the sea.

The Day That Danced With The Sea

The sun did the tango with the sea

The waves made the melody

And the moon was the backup band

Serenity leads to divinity

Love leads to peace

The clouds fill the scene

The wind plays it's part by softening the heart

Blown off course, but the stars guided me back

They danced until the night arrived

Removing the sun like an overprotective parent

The sea still danced partner-less

At least she can still see his reflection off the moon.

She made the waves, wave!

Thinking, "the dawn can't come too soon".

The strength of you hyperbole in lines 10 and 13, swept me off my feet! Baby, you are good!!
I loved every line of this poem... Simple, beautiful, grand.

Thank you very much, I wonder if anyone will notice things like that. It means a lot for you to read and point it out. I appreciate it, and your kind words. Hope you have a great day.

Nature is at its most bewitching when sensitively witnessed with a loving eye.

That is the truth. Loved how you said it too. Thanks for your support on my poetry.
