THE MOTHER AND THE SLAVE

She is caring lovely but stupid
She is happy dancing but suffering
Like the shell of a tortoise she covers the burden body
Like a lion in jungle she protect the territory

She task herself more than enough
And cares not even to sacrifice her blood
Fight night and day more than soldiers in war
And love with all even in hurt

What a soul of the unnoticed
Perfect beings that are taken for slavery
They complain not only because of peace
At times die in pains only because of kids

Everyday she makes trophies
Everyday a man steals it
She is still silent about this
And nobody is talking

She allows the name of her fruit she carry for nine month
To be taken by pride ones
Even without taken a token or them showing remorse
What a woman with power but soft

She suffers flows monthly as a girl
She gives birth anytime the man put in there
She has sleepless night once the baby open eyes
Cook to preserve the life of the lives

Served her sweaty meal just to be called good wife
Use another hand to breastfeed the child
She washes the clothes she never tied
Even when the man goes wrong the mother has never been right

Oh mother...
Oh africa mother
Did you choose to be like this
Or destiny turns you to remain like this

What a shame
That you can not even fight against your faith
Faith that has brought you pains
And you being treated like slaves

You brought us to the world
Yet we can not bear your name for once
You take care of the child and papa
Yet the voice of father always loud more

What is your sin as woman to deserve this
Or this is just an agreement you made with the almighty
My fear is how long will mothers cry secretly
And wear smiles in the midst of everybody

The woman is a king
The mama is a legend
The mother is a life
Mommy is a super unique star
