Upwards and forwards
With sincere motion
Shining on and ahead
Are the beams of Sunlight
That blend with the breezy atmosphere
And like our own,
Extend out with an infinite reach.
Meanwhile the thought that was lost in all this
Has evaporated from the heat
You look behind
And stop to gaze
Into the expansive meadow you have left...
Standing still whilst the appreciation grows
And as the sadness shrouds the future doors
A little songbird flies by to lift your soul
Its okay to hideaway
There's a hole in that heart of yours:
Where the Sunlight sends through its rays
So don't worry, I promise you'll see her someday.
And it returns to the meadow from where you grew
And from where the most important things cherish you.
