A little something called Love

The day we met within that garden,
My heart sank in my chest.
You have a boyfriend and I beg his pardon,
But true love is the best.

I went to your house every day,
And grew fonder and fonder of you.
Then realized I didn't know your name.
Now every Monday is blue.

It seems like we are so far apart,
Yet now I know the truth.
You left me with a broken heart,
Whilst I was in my youth.

There will never be another girl like you,
Leaving time and space to bend.
Even though you said that we were through,
Our true love will never end.

I like it. I wrote a poem with the same theme. https://steemit.com/poetry/@johnwjr7/4fjnl5-love-sick

Another lovely one. Simple yet elegant. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy the pictures too.
