Never near, Never far (poem 1)

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Where would you like to go?
You will have to walk these streets alone.
What is your purpose in life?
You seem to carry it all over.
To the next generation.
And they seem to do the same?
Start it all over,
Start it all over,
The lights keep dwelling.
Either in fear or dully joy
You remember the smile
How it brought you beautiful days
And you seem to wonder
Where does it all lead you to?
Wherever you go, Wherever you are
You are never near, you're never far.

Beautiful poem!

@skririm Thank you, that means a lot to me, the poem is about heartbreak, memories and our space in the universe.
