A weeks gone by
Her face has been scares
maybe I made her shy
By asking why?

Hi
A small whisper startles me

Hello
Haven't seen you in a while little one
I've had things that needed be done
I guess life continues on
Indeed, even when we don't want it to proceed

Why are you still here?
Why do you just stand staring into nowhere?
As I've said before
I stand here because I can
I stand here because I am no longer a man

I have an answer to your question
The reason I show my emotions
You are a fellow human
** And your life needs to resume**

I don't care about it
I've always had many doubts towards it
What is it that you need
To enable you to see?

I require something that you cannot give
You might be surprised be the terrors I've lived
I can assure you that you are not the right one
To save me from this downy song

Fine I will leave again
To find what you are needing
I will be back in a week
With whatever you need

Farewell again
I will play your little game

ErrrHmmmmm
I'm back with what I could find
I went into the depths of my mind
It took me sometime

And what is it you bring?
Does it have a venomousness sting?
Do you think and end to my suffering it will bring?

Just give me a minute
I just have to finish it
Close your eyes for a second

mmmmm
Open your arms
Don't worry I wont harm

I felt a warm embrace
And saw a smile on her bright face

What is your age?
Far to old to behold your face
I'm not kidding
Your persistence is annoying

A two and a four mixed in my mind
I've been around for some time

twenty four
That's not to bad
Why are you trying to stop me from being sad?
I'm 21

I guessed as much
Now please leave me to wallow in my sorrow
I'll see you again
Next time I will relieve your pain

Farewell once more
You can try your best to heal these sores

Intrigued for how this will further enfold :)
If I may ask, would you say your work is based on (past) feelings you experience(d) yourself? Or is it all more balanced towards fiction? you say it's more fiction based.

All the poems that aren't series are past experiences and the series are all fiction

I hope there is a part three. I'm quite intrigued by this story and how it will play out. Your poems are showing a slight element of hope which is nice. I hope you're adjusting with having to go back to school. I use to get depressed when we had to return to school but soon got into the routine. Have a good week ahead Ethan! :D

I wnjoy school for the most part but it is really hectic and I have a tight schedule
