Written by a 15 year old girl making her observations of depression and what it's like on the other side

Unnoticed.

Scars and cuts from days past,
Decorate their arms forever they'll last,
The scratches deep and shallow shatter the soul,
In pieces it falls broken,
Into the dark hole.

The abyss finds ground and up it fills,
Surpassing the breaking point, enough to kill,
People floating in the crowd, hurt and torn,
If they were to die,
No one would mourn,

Nobody notices the ropes tightening around their necks,
Towards the gallows and on they trek,
Their bodies empty and cursed living their only crime,
As the floor falls beneath them
The crowd notices for the first time.
