A Gift bestowed to us by our creator
A Gift we didn't work for,
Unmerited I say.
A Gift we have at hand but don't appreciate
A Gift many who are gone, wished for but can no longer get.

A Gift of breathe
A Gift of healthy living
A Gift of smile and happiness
A Gift of joy in our homes and work place.

A Gift that we never wish to pass us by
A Gift we thank God for at the end of every day either in prayers or thoughts

A Gift we should all always treat with care
A Gift we shouldn't try to snatch away from people
A Gift we should celebrate at the beginning and end of each day
