Escudo blanco

Cuántas veces a tientas, en la noche,
sueñan dos cuerpos fundirse en uno solo
como la nieve y la montaña,
sin saber que al final son tres, cuatro, cien.

Ocurre siempre ante el desnudo de la carne
y su ávido misterio:
De pronto un ojo extraño se abre
entre blancas almohadas,
cruzan labios volando por la nieve,
surgen intempestivas voces
de olvidados amantes.

Los espejos protegen a esos duendes
interpuestos en los colores del ocaso,
en los jadeos y los susurros.
Nada delata en los aposentos
sus crueles usurpaciones sentimentales.

Solamente la luna envuelta
en un crepúsculo rosado
sabe qué manos verdaderas se acarician,
qué rostros ríen detrás de las máscaras
y quiénes vestidos de sombra
con pasos furtivos se reencuentran siempre.

Un golpeteo espontáneo de reconocimiento
adorna el anochecer en su nervio transparente
que sin cuerpo se convierte en amor, en escudo blanco.

White shield

How many times you grope, at night,
I dream of two bodies merging into one,
like snow and mountains,
without knowing that in the end it's three, four, a hundred.

It always happens in front of the naked of the flesh
and its avid mystery:
Suddenly a strange eye opens
between white pillows,
cross their lips flying through the snow,
unwelcome voices arise
of forgotten lovers.

Mirrors protect those goblins
interposed in the colors of the sunset,
in panting and whispering.

He discovers nothing in the chambers
their cruel sentimental usurpations.
Only the moon enveloped in a pink twilight
knows which real hands caress each other,
what faces are laughing behind the masks
and who are dressed in shadow
with furtive footsteps always meet.

A spontaneous touch of recognition
adorns the night with its transparent nerve
who without a body falls in love and becomes a white shield.
