Poetic-surge Poetry Appreciation Contest (In Pictures)

Using descriptive pictures and the power of words, I will be interpreting/analysing the poem "Within me" which was written by @eliasjay

Stanza One

The first stanza talks about a moment each one of us have had to experience. We were/are young and free. But like we all also later find out; freedom is at a cost.

Stanza Two

Man has to pass through life alone. Some things may appear simple for others, but for him, it could be tough. However, he must keep searching, he must not give up.

Stanza Three

Many times, what we sailed hundreds of kilometres to find are right under our nose. To find such treasures, we must look inward. When that discovery is made, sleep becomes sweet.

In deed, the power to change your life, lies right there within you.
