FIND ME IN THE WOODS

RISING FROM THE ASHES

From the west comes the wind
It was harsh but still a bliss
I was strong to swallow the breeze
I would have glowed; so I pop the smoke.

Amidst the many that was blown away
My fortune was the soil I awake
From the west, soon comes the wind again
At least for now the smoke I pop again.

From around I’d gather my strength
Unknowingly, I was gathered so my
Strength could be shared
From the west, whence comes the wind,
The smoke! I could not pop.

In my fantasy there lies some hope
At this point, my love replaced with greed
Soon comes the wind from the west again
Like a glowing splinter, Alas! I glow

With merry my hope revived
With no worries my strength I shared
Like a glowing splinter, even more I glow
Alas! Even more I glow.
