Art of giving by @rosava
How could this be happen?
Abandoning a person in the open
Leaving him like this with burden
I wish I could help him to ease the pain
I shout to every human around
Begging for mercy to help him stand
To give food and feed the homeless man
For him to stood again and have a chance
Poverty might be the culprit
Of this misery in secret
Living in a world of hunger
Existing on earth like a stranger
I wish I could have enough
To share with him what I have
Let this poem awake your heart
And treat giving as an art
I felt the sincerity of this poem how she wanted to voice out to everyone with regards to helping people that need the art of giving. The message was striking for me, and I think she got me with those verses in the last stanza. With that, I declare this entry our first prize winner for this contest. Congratulations!

Judge me not by @coinbelly
I was once a lad,
Full of dreams & Hopes that I wanted to grab.
Happy thoughts & unforgettable memories,
In my heart will always be cherished.
Sad story you may tell,
How I got here stuck in a shell.
But you dont know my true story,
How my life ended in this journey.
I tried it all! I didn't gave up the fight!
I fought so hard! Until I lost my sight!
With just one blew of mother nature,
It all darkened my future.
I tried it all! I tried it all!
But what else can I do if it's mother nature's call?
I tried it all! I tried it all!
But what else can I do if I had the hardest fall?
My story may be forgotten,
A loser like me who's dreams have fallen.
I am sorry! That is all I got!
Please! Judge me not!
Simple but deep. I love how he tells the story of a man who was once full of dreams but became unfortunate. When nature forbids us to be successful its something that we don't have control, so the poem tells us not to judge any man
coz we don't know the story behind his fall. Congratulations..

A humanity of love by @escuetapamela
My heart breaks as I saw the picture above
Is this humanity now? A society without love?
How about his family, where are their solidarity?
This poor old man doesn’t deserve this misery.
Complaining about a bigger home? There’s someone with no home
Complaining about your food? There’s someone with no food
Complaning about new phone? There’s someone who’s living alone
Complaining about everything? There’s someone who owns nothing.
Before we complain about life, there’s someone who wanted a life
Never count want you don’t have, but count who’s in your side
Give us much as you can and help as much as you could
It’s better to be the one giving than the one who is needing.
Let us never forget the mankind who are in the midst of their darkness
Let us brighten their spirit up as we also uplift ourselves
Let us all bring the humanity back, a society filled with hearts
Until then, we will deserve being called “Human” at last.
Another nice poem. I felt the generous heart of the writer here. We humans sometimes keep on complaining in life
even in small things. We sometimes have all but still complaining about our life. However, we don't realize that there were people who aren't complaining but don't have anything. I guessed contentment is the secret. So stop complaining and start helping! Congratulations...
