I'm going to try to challenge myself, and this is the very first one. I am going to try to write 100 Poems in 30 days (essentially, I'm trying to pay for a Birthday Gift for my wife and this is how I want to pay for it). Anyway 100 Poems in 30 Days... should be something to see. I just hope I can come through with good poetry that people enjoy.

Superstition

Thirteen ghosts of superstitions past,
things unknown that might not last...
step on a crack and break your mother's back?
Hell no, I won't go, I won't risk that.

Broken Mirrors seven years,
just beyond the surface tears...
who will I pay if the silver sheen cracks?
You know, I know, the greater fear.

Underneath a ladder it's all bad luck,
if it doesn't fold in half I don't give a bad word redacted...
why is this even a thing at all?
Who knows, I don't know, it really sucks.

I would go to 13 but no, I won't because I'm superstitious!
