Starlit night

Like pearls in the dark.
Shining splendidly.
Light that brightens,
picturesque delight.
Starry sky, starlit night.

Guiding the way,
the way to dreams.
Showing the path,
to a traveler's flight.
A light to heaven,
a starlit night.

Dreams you caused.
A race to heaven.
Man's glory, to reach,
to travel the stars.
A dream night,
a starlit night

Past or present,
The dreams you bring,
fading not, carried by time.
Like stars streaking,
streaking in a starlit night.

To wonder, to seek,
to go to no man's sky.
A night of dreams.
To a starlit night.

Afterwords

 

The starry sky. Man had always dreamt of traveling to the stars. A dream unaffected by time, race, nationality, gender and beliefs. A truly uniting dream. A dream, a starlit night.
