Adventure Week Rock-type event has started!
In a seemingly last-minute announcement by PoGo today, the rock-type even started on May 24th 1PM PDT and will last until June 5th. Besides expecting to see more rock type pokemon spawning, trainers will get buddy candy at 1/4 the normal distance, extra XP for spinning new unvisited pokestops and gyms. Along with that new raid boses and Shinies have been confirmed. Get hunting!

Got my hands on a Shiny Omanyte :) was ecstatic as it was my first shiny I have collected. Think I'm going to hit the town pretty hard today to find some more.
