Nostalgic beauty #2, childhood emerges, PSA

in pokemon •  7 years ago

Dear steemians,

Today I am showcasing another of my beloved cards. However, theres something special about it as you can probably make up from the picture.

That's right. You see a Blaine's Charizard encapsulated by PSA (professional sports authenticator) with a perfect 'gem mint' grade which is noted by a 10.
This basically means that the card is flawless and hereby also extremely valued in the collectors' circle.

Card name: Blaine's Charizard
Evolves from: Charmeleon
Type: Fire

This is a rare holo from the gym challenge set, released BWA almost seventeen years ago, on October 16th 2000 speaking of the English version. As known, Pokemon is Japanese which means that their cards get released, as for this set was released in Japan on June 25th, 1999. Way back.

The cards has set number 2/132 as contraproductively sets are organised by rarity and name, instead of type.

There's actually an error in the card, I'm curious if you'll spot it. Hint: it's in the roaring flames attack.

I've been a pokemon (oldschool) tcg enthusiast since the last two years as im compensating my terrible trade off consisting of a whole buch of childhood memories Holo's for a Nintendo GameBoy Wario game which I played just once. Speaking of compensating behaviour.

I hope that you get just as excited as I do and you perhaps go up your attic and find your epic collectables in great condition.
