Over the past few days, I've been hard at work editing together a rom of Pokemon White. I was taking the sprites of Hilbert, the male protagonist, and changing them into my trainer persona, Jay!
The plan was to do a playthrough of a personalized Pokemon White with my Porygan as my starter! I want most of my playthroughs to be unique compaired to the norm. Plus, I really wanted to show off how good my Porygon can be since most people have consensus that OG Porygon is trash, and that makes me sad. Not to mention that the Black and White games have quite the hype about them. I haven't had much experience with BW1. I mean, I played thd original White, but I don't have many memories of it.lol
Anyway, back on topic! I had just completed editing the rom(all that I could, anyway) and was doing a test drive on the DS emulator, Desmume. Desmume has a record of running pretty laggy and slow. There are tutorials on how to make it run faster, still isn't consistently perfect, but pretty close. I tried doing a test recording on OBS, but that caused the emulation to lag pretty slow. All that must make it use too much power for it to run consistently. I'm not sure if there's anyway for me to record at a decent speed. I don't really have the best computer either.
If nothing else, I may just have to wait until 2019 when the actual Pokemon Switch games come out.
