So, just how is cheating defined in Pokemon Go? Pokémon GO - Is it defined by using a program such as Bluestacks to play? Is it defined by using bots? How about GPS teleporters and trackers [Such as Pokevision?] We really need some clarity here.
Because cheating can be defined in many ways. For example, if you use an aided program, such as Bluestacks, and you legitimately play the game, just in another area, would that be cheating? Because you use an area that Niantic has placed. -- What if a player has 0 pokestops and 0 gyms, and the pokemon are terrible?
Or, what if a player has severe Asthma, is in a wheel chair, or has some other major inhibiting problem that would prevent he or she from actively playing the game? Thus an aid like Bluestacks would help that individual?
Or is it more extreme? Such as the use of Bots? Tracking locations of Pokemon, such as the Sniper Program. And finding what you want when you want it from coordinates? To where you aren't actively playing the game any longer, simply moving around a map and getting really, whatever pokemon you want?
Clarification would be honestly helpful.
For example, I think a program like Bluestacks is a wonderful aid, so long as it is a human being controlling his or her avatar, and playing the game in a legitimate fashion. Especially those who suffer from major disability who still want to take part in your game. -- Or those who have barely anything (especially with the spawn rates of Pokemon being so low overall, it has especially hit Rural areas.) That they cannot truly enjoy the game you have made. -- That is an opinion, of course, and if deemed as cheating, I am both sad, and feel for those who cannot get out to enjoy the wonderful game you've made.
On the contrary, I completely understand that Nintendo is a company and wishes to eliminate cheating as a whole, and sometimes, that means cutting beneficial programs that can aid those who are in less than adequate situations, as ultimately, it is just a game. Likewise, I understand Nintendo offers many Pokemon games to choose from, that are safe and can be played inside. - It is a lot less exciting, but also understandable.
