POKEMON PLAYERS: YOUR DATA IS IN DANGER

It has been recently uncovered that Pokemon has been violating user's privacy.

A closer look at the terms and conditions, Ninantic has the right to pass on user data to third parties at the company's discretion.

If users have any disputes with the game provider, the terms also state that they have to go to arbitration in the USA which is not a practical option for people in Europe.

Last week, U.S senator Al Franken also asked Ninantic to explain why it collects and uses players' data and whom it might share that data.

To be clear, the app as it stands, can read and write emails.  It can also view your Google Docs and search history and Maps use.

Your private photos are not safe.  It will also take data that's standard for modern apps like IP and email addresses.

It was recently discovered that the Pokemon Go account creation process on ios erroneously requests full access permission for the user's Google account.

If you are concerned, you will need to revoke accounts and delete the app.

If you are really desperate you can however sign up via the website.  But that feature is, inexplicably, not working.
