A Legendary Summer
Just as the go fest is apon us Niantic have taken to uploading a new promo video.
In this video we see all our assumptions answered!
Yes, Legendary pokemon are coming this summer and most likey we could see them at the Go Fest.
Yes, the legendary eggs are those we have seen in recent data mining.
Yes, you will need a special raid pass seen in the video as an invitation to battle the Legendary pokemon.
What I personally am unsure about is whether we will need to throw some sort of pokeball to catch them or like in the video they just appear to be caught on our phones.
We thought raid bosses would be automatically caught because of the first promo video where people battled Mewtwo in Newyork at the Times Square and Gotcha! was seen on everyones phones. This an entire year later we see a similar video but it is finally becoming a reality! So heres hoping we get an automatic Gotcha! I have personally had a Snorlax and a Lapras evade me from raids despite using every trick in the pokeball throwing guide book! To have a Legendary evade me will be one of the saddest moments in Pokemon Go History for me.
Oh?....Its a Gligar, just kidding! The remote berry function is shown up and running however with some gyms hardly being challenged feeding our pokemon remotely might not be that useful, maybe for busy city centers?
