Hello Steemit! And something about taking and giving.

in poker •  7 years ago  (edited)

My corner here at Steemit is going to be about poker. I have played poker for quite some time and like studying it as well as playing. I just basically like it all, everything poker related!

Right now I am trying to build my bankroll up to 10k the slow way. I would like to be able to play NL100 comfortably and also continue some coaching sessions with a coach I know. He is very good and that is probably an under statement.

For me part of being coached is actually just to talk to somebody about poker and specifically my game. I don't know so many poker players IRL. I have zero prestige and when it comes to poker. I love finding these people who are better than me. But I also want to be of value to people so it's a balance between giving and taking. Like everything in life.

I used to be really good at giving and not so good at taking. But I found that not taking any help at all just closes people off and that makes me less valuable to others as well. It's interesting.

Anyways, my next post will partly be about some results and also I feel like writing something about variance and hand protection. And that's as far as my plan goes for this.
