Less than a week has passed since the end of the main WSOP 2018 event, but the real winnings of eight of the 9 finalists of this tournament have already been calculated. After all, players will have to pay taxes on their winnings.

Of the total prize money of $28,075,000 tax take to the state $9,811,437, i.e. 39%. In 2017, this figure was much lower due to the fact that four players were UK citizens, and they are generally exempt from paying taxes on winning poker.

The players are as follows:
