Lets face it when it comes to poker who really has the edge? Is it the one with the most chips or the one who is the luckiest. I don't claim to be the best, but I have had my moments.
The problem is more like the luckiest player with the WORST cards gets the river to win. Yes I am talking about TEXAS HOLDEM.
I know the old saying "your only as good as the cards you hold". I made that up.
But even so, my cards seem to be good at times and not others. I mostly play online and found out that live play is better. During a live game cards seem to play more in my favor. So why don't you play live games more you ask. That is matter of mathematics that deals with how much money I have to play. Online can be cheaper so off I go to the computer.
Some games are free and some are not. I have noticed that some of the online sites are doing away with the free rolls, that sucks.
I will not recommend any site because each and everyone involves a higher degree of risk than a live game. Online gaming is a risk venture if you decide to do it. I have heard that some players do very well but there is to many ways for the site not to be honest enough. So be careful which one you play on. RESEARCH THEM thoroughly before getting evolved.
Here is a simple plan that works for me. Preflop is the key but the flop is also where your hand is made. I play my strong hands by raising prefolp, maybe 2 to 3 times blind, unless there is already a raise than i might just call. The flop determines the next step because even AK can be counter fitted on the flop.
These are just basic plays. I also will write bout position play latter.
