The Hive
I will say again that the best way to play poker is to enjoy the game. If you enjoy playing, you are playing right. If you do not win often and would like to win at a higher frequency. Knowledge about the game statistics can help a lot, Understanding position strength and Stack strength against the pot size can greatly improve your game. The there is also variation with the size of the field. tournament poker is the strategy I know most about. These strategies should not be used on a cash game table. A cash game table and a tournament game are completely different,
Using a cash game strategy on a tournament game or vice versa can give a win, More often it will not.
The show will begin at 8 PM UK time (7 PM UTC)
Wednesday.
Bring the questions you have about poker.
Sometimes any two cards are worth to play. Other times they are very bad cards to play.
I see people playing at Lucksacks all the time folding when they should be playng, this is essentially when they are short stacked and just can't seem to find the cards to play with.
Chances are here there was some hands they could have played but decided not to take the risk. The lower your stack is the greater the chances that you will be called if you bet all in. Betting all in should be done when you still have a stack size that is too much for others to risk losing. If the big stack is sitting beside you on the right and you are short stacked, things can become a bit more difficult. Your all in to the big stack could be called with any two cards.
No matter how well you play you will not win every time you play. There will be times when cards just fall against you for weeks at a time. These times too can still provide some wins if you play them right Sometimes you need to play tighter or looser depend on the table players.
