Once that 10 hit, the hardest job for Kalas would have been to suppress the urge to smile (though of course, he'll have played enough hands in his time to have that under control). Of course, with the ace on the river, there was the possibility Koon had the top trips. Kalas had to call the shove though with his tens, still.
Enormous pot but it's all relative at the end of the day - the richer you are, the less losing such a hand would mean to you and the fewer demons in your head you have to wrestle.
To be honest i would probably also be scared of aces if I were Kalas, considering how MUCH money is at risk. But these players probably have a similar approach to money as you described, easy call then.
The action in this cash game is insane, having wild cards like Rui Cao and Elton Tsang on the table, but sadly they have been only playing for a few hours.
