With so many hundreds of videos of police brutality, there needs to be something special to make it through my filter and post about it.
This one makes the cut.
Philly police attempt to disperse crowd after hundreds mased/gassed on Parkway. This was @ 5:30 as curfew nears. Dude w/ white shirt provokes scuffle, shoves baton into civilian’s throat. #phillyprotest #blacklivesmatter #GeorgeFloydprotests #protests2020 pic.twitter.com/XDKOMbr0Sr

The student you see above wearing the Eagles jersey with a ponytail was charged with shoving an officer and breaking his hand. But then a video surfaced. Was it possible the police account wasn't accurate? Maybe even entirely fabricated?
The video showed the student tried to separate a protestor from a cop, until another cop raised his baton. At that point, he backed off. The cop beat him anyway, and then another kneeled on him when he was on the ground.
Who would make up such a false story and accuse an innocent protester?
I am not making this up.
He's a $126k/yr veteran named Joey Bologna. OK, the paper says "Joseph", and I'd probably use that too in professional settings. But you know his friends call him Joey. You know it.
