Police 🚨
I opened my back sliding door, as per usual to get some fresh air into to kitchen before I get into my morning rituals before breakfast. Dishes, children's programing on tv and round one negotiations on what's on the breakfast menu for today with a 3 yr old. Also the while a bunch of cops conduct a raid on my neighbour just over the fence. Wacky tobacco plants along the fence line and from the voices some were also being grown inside their spare bedroom.
I assume they were husband and wife with a little yappy dog. They had some pretty verbally abusive fights, to the point that she would be outside begging for someone to help her late at night.
I could hear other people over the closely knit fences around our rental opening their back/side sliding doors or windows to see what was going on. But more often than not mine was the only voice asking... "is everything okay? do you need help?"...and she would never reply.
