Barcelona: Drug traffickers rescued three policemen who were drowning in the sea last week, regardless of their arrest and conviction.
According to reports, police officers on a patrol in the coastal area of Costa del Sol in southern Spain spotted a suspicious boat they suspected might be drug trafficking. He also warned the loudspeaker to stop the boat, but instead of stopping, he started to get away from them, which the policemen followed in their boat.
Meanwhile, the police boat uncontrollable crashed into the smugglers' boat and three of the policemen fell into the sea. Due to the inclement weather, the three officers sank and called for help.
Although there was a police helicopter at some height, it was not possible to help the police in such a short time. Seeing this, the smugglers jumped into the sea and saved the lives of the three policemen and put them back on the official boat.
However, the policemen fulfilled their duty and arrested the four smugglers while also recovering 80 packets of hashish from their boat, which yielded more than 3 tonnes in total.
Now legal action is being taken against these smugglers, but it is hoped that the punishment may be softened in retaliation for the lives of policemen.
