Thanks for the heads-up, but it seems likely that Trump will keep going. His supporters are people who hate Dan Rather's profession, and many of his core supporters hate Dan Rather. They'll just be energized by that "epic Facebook rant."

He might well lose, but he's been very successful at staying a contender despite his record unfavourables.
