At least 50 Syrian opposition channels documenting video shootings, deaths, aid and rescue of wounded victims, and the distribution of humanitarian aid in Syria closed Youtube management, as reported by Orient News in its publication on Saturday (15/7). Among the closed channels are the YouTube News Network Baladi, Zaman Al Wasl, and Khotwa News Agency.
Different treatments were made by the Youtube management by not closing a single channel of the Assad Shiite regime which posted a barbaric attack shot to the Syrian people. This channel actually appears as a suggestion to be opened every time a video associated with Syria is played.
The revolutionary group suspects that YouTube is collaborating with the Assad Shia regime to hide the crimes of humanity in Syria, and adopt the regime's version of the war on Syria.
