There are time in todays society where a person can accidently say the wrong things, not realizing that is it polically incorrect to say. #Politicalcorrectness has taken over and can honestly be a little frustrating. There are times that I wonder if PC police have taken over and then I see something like this Politically Correct Christmas t-shirt that I found on Amazon and I think maybe there is hope!
I believe that President Bush said it best in his commencement address at the University of Michigan:
"The notion of 'political correctness' has ignited controversy across the land, and although the movement arises from the laudable desire to sweep away the debris of racism, sexism and hatred, it replaces old prejudices with new ones. It declares certain topics off-limits, certain expressions off-limits, even certain gestures off-limits. What began as a cause for civility has soured into a cause of conflict and even censorship."
After finding this shirt on Amazon and reading many post on the subject, I can see both sides of subject, but at what point does Political Correctness just suppress one group of people in favor of another.
