We cannot solve problems effectively. Early in the pandemic Trump, for political reasons, downplayed it.

Can't have those libs be right about anything huh?

But later on, he was right in that we should have opened up the schools.

Now it was the liberals who could not stand Trump being right about something.

Unfortunately our kids, especially those in the lower SES neighborhoods paid the price for our failure to base solutions on what is best for them rather than political polarization.
