I read somewhere that the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics was supposed to be about the athletes. Well, I must say that I do not think they succeeded. I loved the way the opening ceremony showed the city of Paris at its most beautiful, and the music and everything was great. But, why did it have to be so incredibly politically correct that they showed all sorts of people that they already know will make people today speak about them instead of the athletes that have worked so hard to earn themselves a place in the Olympics?
It was great to see the Eiffel Tower, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, and all the other artists, but still they ruined it with the political correct thing showed men dressed as women with boobs dancing in front of everyone else... at least that is how I see it.
