What is news to me is the insight into how the breakdown of racialized social barriers has exacerbated the movement of nonwhites away from Democrats. And there is no turning back that trend.
Some of my conservative friends credit Trump for picking up non-white votes.
It is not Trump.
It is an inevitable social change that is impacting that change and creating this political realignment.
