A New Nigeria is Possible

I have been preaching the need for everyone to get their PVCs so that they can decide the fate of the next general election in Nigeria. For sometime, especially after the Ekiti Governorship Election, I have not continued for a reason. Someone asked me a question that made me pause. He asked 'after the PVC, what if your vote becomes meaningless by the failure of political parties to produce credible candidates?' Have you thought of this too?

I thought of this because i belong to a political party and presently we have been asked to support some persons in the party primaries to emerge as the party candidates in various election positions. Sorry to say, some of the persons can be expressed in a simple term as 'Frauds'. Even within the party we are unsure if the party even have the thought of thinking of the progress of the nation as their ultimate desire. We keep asking if this is not a 'watered' system where everything will be controlled like a laboratory experiment.

There must be something we can do. We can seek redress as voters on any representative that is working against the purpose of good governance. This is a good reason to have your PVC; dont you think? This is only my thought and i will appreciate if you shared yours so we can work on it and ensure that we build a progressive nation.
