Trying to Start an Apocalypse - Christian Zionism

If you want to see the planet get blown up for absolutely no reason, what do you do? It's easy. You gather up a bunch of religious fanatics, arm them with Scofield Reference Bibles, then give them access to a high-powered war machine and the ability to dictate policy in the Middle East. In no time at all, they'll be setting the stage for a man-made Apocalypse that they believe will force Jesus to speed up the date of His 'second coming'.

Welcome to the twilight world of the Christian Zionist movement, whose aim is the farthest thing from 'peace in the middle east'.

Before you start ramming your own knickers up your arse in a show of phony moral outrage, I will let you know in no uncertain terms that I have personally sat in on dozens of evangelical and 'Hebrew Roots' based 'Christian' churches where I repeatedly witnessed the same message being preached both verbally and in their texts and tracts. The unfortunate thing is that I never once believed that these 'churches' would ever have the wherewithal to pull their mad dreams off.

Sadly, they do now. Christian Zionists have gained tremendous political clout in the thirty years since I first encountered them, particularly in the USA. The end result is what we are seeing today: an intentionally provocative foreign policy in the Middle East - one that is bound to cause the breakout of war in 2018, and the subsequent annihilation of Israel.

Of course, getting Israel annihilated isn't exactly what the Christian Zionists have in mind. It certainly isn't what Jewish Zionists have in mind. But it will be the end result.

For those individuals who are unaware of just what Christian Zionism is, it is the belief that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of a highly disputed interpretation of biblical prophecy concerning the return of the Jews to their ancestral homeland. The reason it is so highly disputed is because it involves the building of a third temple that is not mentioned in the bible, and an entirely man-made return from 'captivity'.

The unfortunate, and hateful, twist to this seemingly harmless peccadillo is that they also believe that once Israel has been resurrected, and Jesus has been forced to return, they - and only they - will be caught up to heaven, while everyone else is left behind to die in a massive global apocalypse. This includes any Jews who refuse to convert to their version of Christianity.

In other words, the Jews will be gathered back to Israel in order to be slaughtered.

This is how they've mutated the Gospel of Love that Jesus taught, morphed it into a dangerous me-first, misanthropist gospel of hate and destruction, and created an abomination in the heart of the Holy Land.

The Scofield Reference Bible played a tremendous role in creating this impeding catastrophe by intentionally rewording and changing passages in the biblical texts so that they reflected, supported, and reinforced this strange message.

There are several darkly ironical aspects to the whole Christian Zionist story, not least among them the fact that it gave birth to Jewish Zionism. Even stranger than being the ideological progenitor of it's Jewish counterpart, is the fact that the Jews whom Christian Zionists so passionately believe to be the 'true' descendants of Abraham are not descended from Abraham at all - and the Palestinians whom Christian Zionists so despise are probably the real remnants of the Jews of Jesus' time.

Oh, what a tangled web they weave, when first they practice to deceive... .

Since I don't expect anyone to take my word on this, I have selected a few videos featuring presentations by authorities on these matters. Do not comment until you have watched each video to its conclusion. The speakers themselves will themselves address any arguments or questions you might have.

And, one other thing: calling someone an antisemite, or a 'self-hating Jew' for having the balls to stand up and present facts in accordance with the true historical record, is nothing more than an act of intimidation and cowardice.

One of the very important truths presented in this video is that King David was descended from converts. Now that is bound to make Christian Zionists feel like they are sucking lemons. At one hour and five minutes (1hr 5min) into the video, the speaker presents the facts about Christian Zionism birthing Jewish Zionism. Don't skip any part of this video because it presents very important information for anyone who truly wants to truly understand who today's Jews are, and how they see themselves. The speaker is Shlomo Sand. It may be hard to wrap your mind around the idea that today's Palestinians are the true descendants of biblical Jews, however the point is completely valid. It also answers the question of who European Jews really are. Spoiler: converts, not blood descendants.

Speaker: Alex Awad, Palestinian Christian.

A woman from the USA comes to a Palestinian Christian congregation and asks to share a message that she claims God has given her. She is allowed to address the congregation, and then proceeds to tell them to get out of Palestine so that the Jews can have their land. This is just one bone-chilling anecdote about how Christian Zionists are undermining Christian communities in Palestine.

I am including Syria's response to the USA's unilateral declaration regarding the status of Jerusalem because I dearly wish Canada had had the balls to say what the Syrians had the courage to say. Instead, Trudeau Jr. had our country abstain, and then go to a holiday cocktail party that the US representative to the UN threw for every country that did not vote to condemn its actions. Yes, Canada most likely abstained because of threats made concerning a new NAFTA deal, but we'll get fucked on that anyway, so we should have just stood up for our traditional values instead of caving.

In conclusion, I have to say that, for the first time in my life, other Christians are starting to scare me. I mean really frighten me. They are dead-set on having an apocalypse, and forcing it now.

But... . Do you think God can be forced? In the end, they will have started a major conflagration, one that will kill millions and do immeasurable damage to land and life. For what? The selfish desire to escape the problems of the world, instead of working to resolve them and to act as the peacemakers that Jesus blessed?

It is not at all surprising that this perversion of Christianity has its roots in a deluded American, Cyrus Scofield. The rot of Americanism, in which a collection of disgruntled rice, tobacco, and cotton farmers deluded themselves into raising themselves above their station and rebelled against their rightful lord and master, His Majesty King George III, seeded the insanity of "American Exceptionalism" into an already heretical branch of Christianity, resulting in Christian Zionism plaguing the modern world. One must recall the context of the so-called "puritans" who seeded the US of A; those too fundamental and obnoxious even for Cromwell's Britain.

Some mock "puritanism" as that unsettling feeling that someone, somewhere is having fun. The core of hatred, self-righteous judgment, and willful refusal to experience empathy coupled with the American penchant for believing themselves clay-gods who can dictate to Heaven their preferences seem to be the rot that this Christian Zionism has as its foundation.
