Why is Damian Marley mentioning Syria prior to the War

in politics •  8 years ago

A question need answering by wise folks. While I was listening to Jamrock Track recently I cached Damian Marley say in his song "East coast, West coast, gang law in Syria". Was he singing for someone else? Why mention this years before, is there a motive? or is it just me being paranoid?

i guess the whole syria thing started quite a while back. If i am not mistaken this track was released in 2009

Is there Syria in the lyrics?
