The left has a cottage industry of investigating the origins of words and phrases and condemning those with bigoted origins. For example, I was recently warned against using the term "going native" because of its problematic origins.
Fair enough. Although often tendentious and annoying, it's not a bad thing to become more conscious of the layered meanings of terms we might use too casually.
So it's especially striking that the left continues to rely on historic anti-semitic tropes about the moneyed Jews secretly controlling politics while denying that there's any anti-semitism embedded in them.
The double standard shines like the noonday sun, but they put on their shades and refuse to look at it.
