I don't know anyone who regrets not getting vaccinated

There is a lot of talk in conservative media about the increase in young, otherwise healthy people that are having heart or respiratory problems and I'm not going to jump in on the debate about whether or not this is happening in greater numbers than it ever did before. That's the thing with media, controversy sells and they can manipulate statistics to look any way that they want. They did it before, during, and after Covid and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Whether or not the vaccine has widespread ill side-effects is something that some people out there probably know, but it will never be admitted by governments and the pharmaceutical companies that were involved in the widespread rollout. They are far too powerful to ever admit fault and no matter how you feel or felt about the Covid vaccine, you have to realize that the government and corporations are not your friends and are not looking out for your best interests.

Fortunately for me I live in a part of the world and a part of the USA where the state that I live in was very much forced by the population to leave it up to the individual whether or not they wanted to get vaccinated. In my small part of North Carolina we had a relatively low level of vaccination and we were told by the governor and lectured by representatives all over the country that we were giving the people of our county (and others like it) a death sentence and that we should be ashamed of ourselves for not caring about grandma.

Then our statistics ended up looking just like the rest of the country and for the most part, the world.

All I am trying to say is that I don't know a single person, or even know anyone that knows anyone, that regrets NOT getting vaccinated.

People on the other side would make some blanket statement like "I bet the people that died from it regret not taking it" or "you don't know anyone who doesn't regret not taking it because they all died!" you know, something cruel and unprovable like that.

I think it is rather convenient that the world stopped talking about places that didn't shut down and didn't have vaccine mandates or even places like Mexico that never even closed itself off to the rest of the world. If any of those pundits had been correct about anything it seems to me like Mexico should have suffered an absolutely massive loss of life... but they didn't. New Bern (where I live) didn't have a massive spike in deaths either despite the fact that we had low vaccination levels, refused to do social distancing or lockdowns, and for the most part, refused masks as well.

I am upset that this crime against the world happened and I think it is rather convenient that the media and governments have all but completely stopped talking about it, maybe because they know the population easily forgets things and as long as they have us arguing about trans-women in sports and now the fact that there are aliens (apparently) that we will just forget that they were completely wrong about almost everything and ruined a lot of lives as a consequence.

I hope the world learned a bit and will never allow their governments to do this to them again. Here in NC, we never allowed them to do it the first time and we turned out just fine.

The number of people you know who might know others is likely no more than couple hundred or a few hundred at best. When speaking of excess cases of myocarditis and pericarditis induced by the vaxx we are talking about a number between 1 in 1,000 to 10,000 the vast majority of which are in high school and college aged males. That might not seem like much to you but the NNV to prevent 1 hospitalizations is in the tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands for the groups most likely to get a vaxxed induced autoimmune disorder which is far greater than the risk of covid hospitalization for them. And they really can't regret getting something they were forced to get by their school or employer.

Thanks for that information, I was unaware of the younger heart related problems because I don't bother with much of the news since none of it can be trusted anyway. I suppose I am just happy that I just happen to live somewhere in the States that said "no" to the government and because of the political makeup of my state, the government had no choice but to let us have that choice. There is a large military base near where I live where soldiers were being forced to vaccinate, but virtually all other aspects of life in Eastern North Carolina were untouched by these rulings.

I don't watch news either. I read primary sources like studies on the actual safety and efficacy of the shots. For instance, a new matched cohort study conducted in Qatar found the bivalent is about 21% effective against infection from XBB for covid naive and the half-life of these "vaccines" is about 87 days.

Is 21% protection for a few months against a variant most people are now asymptomatic too, especially young healthy males in their physical prime, something you want to risk an autoimmune and coagulation disorder over. Probably not, unless you are coerced into doing so. You can't regret choices that are made for you.

wise words and I totally agree
