I know the entire trans thing has been completely blown out of proportion and has taken a center stage place in the world right now even though honestly, is it really that big of a deal to anyone?
I know that I live my life as a person that doesn't care at all what you do with your own life provided it doesn't harm other people. Once it does harm other people, then I have a problem with that.
I also don't think it is necessary to introduce children to overly sexual material at a young age and really don't think that there was anything wrong with the way things used to be. I had to go through a very uncomfortable class when I was in 5th or 6th grade about sex education and I think that most people around my age had the same. It was a required part of the curriculum and it was completely anatomy based. These days I don't really think that this class is necessary because kids are going to be introduced to this sort of thing at a very young age thanks to the internet anyway. We didn't have the internet when I was a kid so we probably had bad information and were relatively innocent in comparison.
My standpoint on the "tran issue" or drag-queen story time issue is that I don't really care. However, it should never be something that a kid or anyone else is forced to be exposed to against their will. The fact that is is even discussed in educational circles is something that makes me believe that our education system, as well as most everything else that the government gets involved with, is completely broken. But then again, that is what government excels at.
I have no idea who Mario is, perhaps he is someone either already minorly famous or someone who is seeking to become so. The comparison here is that it would be "safer" to have a drag queen or cross dresser or whatever the PC term is for the person on the left, than it would be to have a Pit Bull around the kids. Well, as someone who has a bunch of dogs I can say that well Mario you are correct given the right circumstances but Mario, and the people who are applauding this sort of crazy comparison are missing is that how about we don't expose kids to danger at all whenever possible?
This isn't a "you must choose one" conversation. When my friends who have children come over for a visit I will supervise their interactions with my dogs except for the little one that is really old that lives in the house. Are the dogs capable of brutalizing a child? Yeah, of course they are. They are capable of doing that to me as well but through years of training they don't do so. This doesn't mean that the dogs couldn't all of a sudden get triggered on something that turn on a child and bite them, they certainly could do that. Dogs are by their very nature very capable of great harm.
This doesn't mean that comparing a drag queen to one of the most well-known types of strong dog is a good "one or the other" type of comparison though. I think it is a very poor one.
How about we re-do this Mario. We put the drag queen on one side and a regular teacher on the other.

Now which one would you rather have around your kids? Or we could replace the picture on the left with a great white shark instead of the man with a beard that has makeup on. You see how this is going?
The internet has become a very silly place with people thinking that a dumb thing like the first comparison is somehow representative of a real argument.
Now lets go back to the man with a beard wearing makeup vs the "traditional teacher" comparison. If the family would STILL rather their child be looked after by the man wearing makeup with a beard then that is their choice and while I think it is strange, it doesn't have anything to do with me and I should butt out.
Stop trying to force your ideals on other people. Freedom is actually really simple if the people of the world would just learn to mind their own business.
