To get your tribe motivated...you need to create emotional schisms...create a difference that is so emotionally charged...your "opponent" can not win...label them...based on that one thing...add to that a media generation that thrives on "juice"....controversy...emotional insanity...and you have what we have today...those in power remaining in power by creating schisms that can not be bridged...one issue can rule all...

Meanwhile...the majority of us every day reasonable slobs...attempt to go about our business...realizing we believe a little from this side...a little from that side...and hope just to survive those running the show...

Unless the world begins to emphasize our similarities and things we can agree on and not hype up our differences...nothing changes...
