State of the Union Address

in politics •  7 years ago

Well, if you managed to drag yourself through this bog of a speech, you probably heard Trump mention not only the War on terror, but that on Drugs, and the willingness to keep Guantanamo Bay open, sanctions, NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION, and other such drivel.

As much as I have wanted to like Trump, considering all the good choices he has made over the last several months (the tax cut is the main success), he just isn't the Libertarian, anti-war, anti-subsidies, anti-government-interference kind of guy I have been waiting for.

The Ron Paul Revolution is Dead. Viva Ron Paul!

I’m in total support for Ron Paul. With that being said, then I hope you understand or maybe imagine the courage and chessboard games type mentality it takes to bring down those corrupt institutions, individuals, MSM propaganda, bla bla Deep State corruption.

Stop the mainstream brainwash...

Ron Paul wouldn’t have been strong enough to confront and take down the Deep State.

Dig deeper. Here are some worth viewing on YouTube....

I promise you, I love and desire our individual freedom but knowing what we know we have to fight in any ways we know how to break free.

Ron Paul wanted to End the Fed. He was going for the roots of the Swamp Thing.

Roy Potter sounds familiar, but not the others. Anything in particular you wish to recommend, concerning current affairs or Ron Paul's philosophy?

And do you intend to imply that bombing civilians, setting tariffs, and building walls somehow promotes individual liberty?

I’m not implying that I know anything but this is what we got; Trump, and I don’t agree with everything he does nor do I even pretend to know the real truths behind what I reading and watching but I can’t say that I know what Ron Paul would be like if he was elected. I’m a sheeple debt-slave who dream of love and peace and maybe one day figure a way out of the Matrix but at this point it would be naive to think any one elected person can solve our problems. I’ve decided to be hopeful with the understanding that the take down of the Deep States doesn’t happen overnight. I’m doing my very best. It’s not always mutual.

Presidential Puppets, including Trump is just a small fry circle jerks evading from the real true world criminals as one example like the Rothschild aka Bauer family.

Please know that I’m not hear to debate your opinion as I know it’s frustrating because we all wish for love and peace for all in the world.

Aloha

Aloha. I agree no one elected person can solve everything. We need to educate and empower ourselves first and foremost. thank you for your thoughts on the matter!

I always like Ron Paul :)

He is a real man -- someone to admire!

I don't expect him to be Libertarian. I'll applaud him when he cuts regulations, reduces taxes, etc.
I'll be loudly against him as his continues these pointless wars and increases spending.
Gotta take the meat and leave the bone... but, you're right. A libertarian, he is not.

Yes, I agree. In fact, I have only been leaning closer to supporting the guy because of all the bad press he gets, even when his policies are beneficial to the people, such as the ones you mentioned above.

I like the meat and the bone expression; I personally said "Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater" to a Texan the other day -- a rabid anti-Trump guy.

But after the state of the union address, maybe we threw out the broth and are left gnawing the bone.
