As the DNC changes the debate rules to keep Tulsi Gabbard out of the next debate ....

Matt Christiansen has a pretty level-headed and common sense analysis of the seeming contradiction between the identity politics promoted non-stop by the Democratic presidential campaigners and the primary / caucus process that has left that party with having to choose between an 77 year old imbecile and a 78 year old communist, both of whom identify as white, straight and male, as the party's presidential candidate. Expect the VP selection to check as many different categories as possible in order to "balance" the ticket. Not sure voters care as much about immutable characteristics of the candidates as do the media.
