Twitter is reminding us that life is sometimes very funny. Recently, representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) from NY posted on twitter that her abuela was living in dilapidated conditions in her home in Puerto Rico after the ravaging devastation of hurricane Maria. AOC responded by saying Matt doesn't understand being a 1st generation daughter, and that she wants to care for everyone not just her abuela. In an act of political astuteness, incredible humor, but also admittedly a jab at AOC, Matt started a gofundme for AOC's abuela. He has at the time of this post raise more than $50,000 for AOC's abuela, and he is calling on everyone to #HelpAbuela. I think we can all agree, right or left, LOL and well played Matt.
