On October 27th the Elections happened in Argentina. All provinces were choosing President and some, also governor and other positions.
So far, the results are somewhat similar to what the PASO and the surveys were showing us. The candidates Alberto Fernández-Cristina Fernández de Kirchner received 12.461.727 votes, Mauricio Macri-Miguel Ángel Pichetto 10.465.604, while the other four formulas got a total of 2.985.610 votes.
In terms of porcentages, the results look like this:
- FRENTE DE TODOS (Alberto Fernández-Cristina Fernández de Kirchner): 48,1%
- JUNTOS POR EL CAMBIO (Mauricio Macri-Miguel Ángel Pichetto): 40,8%
- CONSENSO FEDERAL (Roberto Lavagna-Juan Manuel Urtubey): 6,2%
- FRENTE DE IZQUIERDA Y DE LOS TRABAJADORES (Nicolás del Caño-Romina Del Plá): 2,2%
- FRENTE NOS (Juan José Gómez Centurión-Cynthia Hotton): 1,7%
- UNITE - DESPERTAR (José Luis Espert-Luis Rosales): 1,5%

Even though 51,9% of the population didn't vote for Fernández-Fernández, because of the Argentina law, the elected president and vice-president are Fernández-Fernández as they received more than 45% of the valid votes.
