I would agree that charities are in most cases underhanded in some way. One of my friends used to work at Goodwill, and he quit the best job that he ever had when he found out that about 5% of profits were actually going to people who could use the money.
Now it worked out for him, since he is now a manager at Menards. Karma right? But he will no longer even shot at most thrift stores, and only goes to swap meets. Now I am not complaining, since that leaves more deals for me. I mean I do not agree with what they are doing, but they are going to keep doing it. If it gets a deal for me where I can make money don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
