To Say Rape, is to Rape

The inevitable result of censorship is ignoring reality.

"We can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality"

-Ayn Rand

Where life has happiness, so does it have tragedy. There is a balance we can't understand from our subjective perspectives regarding this balance.
Layed out simply, as I understand it, is this:

In order to understand happiness, we must also understand its opposite. For if life was the flattening of all emotion into a simple neutral vs happy state of being - there wouldn't be a human experience. Consequence and triumph would be of little meaning. Our poetry, art, and entire culture would be completely banal and dry.
The very colors of life would be reduced to white and grey.

"The first matrix I designed was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art, flawless, sublime. A triumph equaled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is as apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every human being, thus I redesigned it based on your history to more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of your nature."

-The Architect, The Matrix

Our history, our tragedies, our comedies, our human nature - Even the aspects we choose to ignore, are all elements of our collective experience. We must celebrate the good, and remember the bad. Learn from our history, and repeat the lessons that worked.

Through culture, we can experience all that our diverse human nature has to offer.

Censor Human Nature at your own peril.
