Louise Linton has no class. Conclusion, we won't be getting the tax cuts that Trump promised

in politics •  7 years ago

As the philosopher Countess Luann once said, money can’t buy you class

But when we’re living in a moment in American history when our public servants know less about dignity than our Real Housewives, it’s inevitable that fiascos that require apologies from folks like Louise Linton are going to happen.

Until this week, Linton was best known as the blonde bimbo who self-published a dubious and swiftly debunked 2016 memoir of her youthful gap year in Zambia. Much of the book has been shown be distortions, fabrications and outright lies. We already know a lot about Ms. Linton's moral's and upbringing from her self-published book in 2016.

In June 2017, Linton wed the US Secretary of the Treasury, former Goldman Sachs executive Steven Mnuchin.

On Instagram Monday, Linton posted a glamour photo of herself and her spouse stepping off a government plane in Kentucky, where her spouse was scheduled for a meeting on tax reform. “Great @daytrip to @Kentucky!” she captioned, adding the hashtags “@nicest, @people, @countryside, @rolandmouret, @hermesscarf, @tomford, @valentino, @usa.”

This was a massive muck-up committed by Louise Linton. The 36-year-old posted a Monday night Instagram photo of herself stepping off a military plane onto the runway like she was someone who mattered. “Great @daytrip to @Kentucky! @nicest @people @beautiful @countryside,” she wrote, as if @people were a useful hashtag and Kentucky were a desirable daytrip location. Then Linton tagged her @rolandmouret pants, @hermesscarf, and @tomford “sunnies,” as if any being in the universe gave a crap about the treasury secretary’s wife’s pants.

Lousie Linton is a trailer trash bimbo wanta be. That Steve Mnuchin chose to marry.

And that tells me, very sadly, that we won't be getting permanent tax cuts from Steve Mnuchin and the Trump administration in the first four year term.

Their margin of error is exactly 2 votes out of 52 to get anything passed in the senate.

Anyone that has such a deep lack of judgement and understanding of human nature to choose to marry a self absorbed airhead like Louise Linton, is not going to be able to finesse winning a vote in the senate where he can only afford to lose only 2 out of 52 votes.

Trump record of achievements is not going to grow in August or September.

My scorecard on the Trump record reads as:

1) get a new conservative Supreme Court judge. Check.

2) repeal and replace Obamacare. Fail.

3) remove most of the Executive Order overhead that Obama put in place to slow and stall the economy.  Result has been some of the best, fastest economic growth and growth of optimism in 8+ years. Check.

4) permanent tax reforms to further stimulate the economy. Fail.

5) build a wall on southern border to stop the flow into the US  of illegal drugs carried by illegals. Fail.

6) drain the swamp in Washington. Clear out the deep state traitors, so that the country is under control of elected officials, not under control of unelected faceless bureaucrats that act in their own self-interest, not in the American peoples self interest. Fail

7) launch a program to begin restoring America's rusting and faltering infrastructure. Fail.

8) restore military integrity, clarify mission, focus on winning not nation building, support all the men and women in law enforcement and first responders, and fix Obama's dysfunctional Veteran's Administration. Check.

9) Build political bridges and a bigger tent to invite and contain a broader coalition, to expand his support above 49%. Begin to heal the racial divide that Obama ginned up and amplified in eight years of divisiveness. Fail.

On my scorecard, Trump is 3 for 9 on his major ticket objectives.  He still has time to work on the other six items. But I have little faith or confidence that Steve Mnuchin has the political or people skills to get the permanent tax cuts done before the next election in 2018.  Very regrettable.

Trump's behavior makes him an easy person to dislike in many respects.

But his agenda has a lot of positive ideas and a lot of positive direction, which can Make America Great Again.

The leftists, Socialist and Marxists are doing everything they can to torpedo this outcome.

Please upvote if you were surprised by the smooth segway I was able to pull off in moving from the white trailer trash bimbo introduction to closure with a Trump scorecard.  Surprised y'all on that one.    LOL.

I'll give a full upvote to anyone who demonstrates by your reply that you have read this far, AND provides a substantial comment with your own opinion on this post.

I was hoping for a bit more engagement, but by letter of the law it looks like you probably read a lot of the post so I sent a full upvote.

My counter-point: it is also guaranteed that Socialists and Marxists are going to make utopian promises that they will never be able to fulfill. That has the same certainty as death and taxes.

What an awful positivity! xD

And this is what we are living for today ? What happen to our rights ? What happen to everyone being equal ? Some bullshit

Thanks for reading and commenting. Louise Linton has much in common with a famous French philosopher.

"Qu'ils mangent de la brioche".

Let them eat cake - are words you can almost hear Louise Linton saying to the peasants she despises.

Be careful Louise. The pitchforks will be sharp if the crowd gets them out.

This builds rage inside of me , but we have to remember one thing .. "nothing is life is fair"

Cheers 🍻

I think a "lol" might be enough as a comment to your end statement. But alright, kiddings aside. Never heard of that woman, and already forgot. As for trump, I still think he is the same as his predecessors. But at least he is not afraid to show it. For that matter I guess he couldn't have done worse than Hillary would ^.^ O well, always good to keep hopes up :P

I believe Trump is very different than Obama and Bush. Trump is a street-fighter, who has middle class attitudes at the core of his being, despite the obscene wealth. He is a natural leader and understands how business works, and doesn't think business is inherently evil. Obama was an academic. Obama was a professor at heart, not a leader and certainly not an effective Commander In Chief of the military. Bush was a spoiled Texan.

The closest recent president that is comparable to Trump is Clinton. They can both relate to the middle class, and demonstrated an understanding of the major issues that impact and matter to the middle class.

Hmm, sounds like a good observation. I just feel like they are all too much stuck into the status quo model and represent rather the big corporations than the common people... (So I guess there is also some prejudice towards them from my side...).

Three comments:

  1. Excellent segway
  2. I think you are spot on with your analysis of Trumps success and failure.
  3. I've no idea who Louise Linton is but based on your comment, I assume she stars in Real Housewives.
  4. I know I said three comments but this is a bonus: Kentucky is a wonderful location for a daytrip. It is truly a beautiful place.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Louise Linton is spoiled brat wife of Steve Mnuchin, who caused the manure to hit the fan when she tweeted after a government flight about all the top end brands she was wearing. No class.

Trump is only 8 months in, so could still be time for him to put a few more successes in the win column.

But the going is not going to get any easier for him to get any tough legislation passed.

Too many spineless RINO Republicans in the Senate. Getting anything to pass with only 52 potential maximum votes, is going to be real tough, when 50 is minimum acceptable. And even 50 only works for bills that will fit into reconciliation process

Well said. Drain the swamp.

Some folks might accuse you of "raping the rewards pool". LOL .

88 cents per word payout on your 5 word reply.

Well done sir. Very concise.

haters gonna hate ;) Thanks for the upvote.

you are right they always give accuse of raping the rewards pool :D@hackerwhacker botty :D glad 2 c ya

Trump should have bought a bought a media channel (TV) so he can get his message out 7x24 -- Twitter is not enough and nobody counteracts all the BS. I am not happy about Afghanistan move or China sanctions either. Lord knows I don't see what he see's or is being told.

Afghanistan is a hard choice. If we leave, we create a huge safe haven for Radical Islamic Terrorists to use as their next temporary home. And they grow there in the way they did after Obama created a giant vacuum by pulling out of Iraq prematurely. We still have troops in Japan and Germany. Why so surprised that there are troops in Afghanistan? Key for our troops - stop the attempts at expansion of territory, help Afghans defend a much smaller territory so we aren't having any more troop losses in Afghanistan

usa should give atleast a year to Trump
It still to early to judge

Agreed. Takes time to change the direction of the super large cruise ship which is the "Deep state" in Washington. have to root out the bureaucrats that are not on board with the new administration direction, get rid of the old guard, to begin implementing new policy

i dont know why he speaks hatred for muslims ? every person in this world is made by GOD there is no one to judge someone by the religion people are bad not religion we all should respect every religion i hate when they say muslims are terrorist ? #hate-trump :( u may downvote my opinion but i am stood on my words

Full vote for engagement. I have never heard Trump say he hates Muslims. Can you provide any reference where he has stated that?

He has said that there is no room in this modern world for Radical Islamic Terrorists. They need to be hunted down and killed like vermin. I've heard words to that effect from Trump.

Do you agree that Radical Islamic Terrorists need to be hunted down and killed?

u cant call them islamic terrorist ? terrorism has no religion ! terrorists are terrorist they should be killed everytime everywhere wherever they seen but using word islam or islamic * deserve hateness there are many terrorist organization they belong 2 thousands of different religion did anyone have heard christian terrorist no ? they dont have to use the word again !

they should use terrorist should be ban for comming or outgoing not muslim he use everywhere the word muslims as if it is something to make fun about -_-
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-muslim-ban-immigration-us-travel-refugee-syria-iran-iraq-entry-visa-amnesty-internal-a7553541.html

The immigration ban is NOT on Muslims. It is on countries where the political systems have broken down to the point that it is not possible to vet the background of the person that is applying to immigrate. These countries were first flagged by Obama as locations from which it was not possible to vet the immigrants.

Do you leave your front door open and let anyone that wants come into your house? I suspect not. You have some screening process on who you let in.

That is reasonable and expected.

Just like it is reasonable and expected that countries would screen immigrants.

If you are coming from a country where it is impossible to screen backgrounds, then you don't get in.

Really simple

Really logical

Just common sense

When people protest against common sense that is a sign that there is some other agenda in play

ok ok buddy you won (y) :P

Many of the US Presidents plays "Islamophobia" as there trump card for wining. Many aspect of the society remains closed until you open it for your self. Its the same in this situation. Politicians see's an opportunity to win and they take it. Islam is a peaceful religion as others. Some people may have show'd some furiousness but it doesn't mean that you should point out to whole religion/nation. If any of You guys want to personally know about Islam or Muslim culture then just came to Pakistan. We'll show You what real Islam is. Love for you all.

Thank you for giving the name of this hot bimbo, research purposes only.

Whereas Trump has to undo several mistakes from the previous government, fight against internal enemies and MSM, he is doing very well for 8 months of government.

I believe he will be a great president!

Amen!!

What came with the ponzi scheme of fiat currency (enforced by the biggest militaries in history) was the manipulation of populations by the entertainment industry. Trump is a billionaire oligarch who will do nothing to alter the interests of the mafia casino owners......You play, they want their cut of the vig, and they've spent the last 50 years closing near every option for not playing in their corrupt casino economy.......

Too obscure for me to appreciate what your point is

Is you like being ruled by corrupt billionaire oligarchs to the point? If one is a Trump supporter then this is what one is getting......And I say that as one with a high regard for conservative values, but the last thing these mafia oligarchs are is conservative......

now this is what happens in politics stays in politics

Very interesting... Couple points stuck out to me:

Personally, I'm not so sure we can say military integrity has been fully restored when our Commander-in-Chief still insists on insulting a veteran and war hero, John McCain. Additionally, there appear to be growing problems within the military. These are indicated by issues such as the four collisions involving US Navy warships since the start of the calendar year (of which there had been five since 2000, according to the New York Times), as well as by the controversy and turmoil that has come about over topics like the transgender ban. Of course, my military knowledge is limited to what I can read in articles and hear on the news, so my opinion could be completely misguided.

Another point that resonated with me was in regard to Trump's plan to restore America's infrastructure. This is one that worries me a great deal. Our infrastructure is in an atrocious state, yet this problem never seems to be a priority for lawmakers, especially Presidents. I get that it's not a "sexy" issue, but that won't matter much when Americans don't have functioning highways to get to work every day. According to an article on TheHill.com, the American Society of Civil Engineers rated America's infrastructure at a D+ earlier this year, meaning that this NOW is a problem. In my opinion, this is one issue in which politicking must be put aside, in order to get the requisite funding to adequately repair the country's infrastructure.

Again, these are all just my opinions!

While I think there is much work to be done in fixing corporate taxation I am optimistic that hopefully some of the mainstream tax cuts on individuals and small businesses such as partnerships and subchapter S corporation's will go through. I am interested in covering this and curating So I am following you!
