Heads are rolling in Zimbabwe's Cabinet following President Robert Mugabe's announcement that there will be a new look Cabinet to be announced this week. The reshuffle follows performance audits carried out by an appointed committee to assess the progress of appointed ministers in the 2013 election aftermath. His announcement was made this Saturday (October,7) at a ceremony held to meet with the national youth league.
President Mugabe also threatened to dump others who will be unlucky following the turmoil created by the Generation 40 and Lacoste factions surrounding his presidency, government operations and the party. The infighting recently characterised with his ZANU PF party as we get closer to next year's harmonised elections is a cause for concern on the electorate.
At the event the President also castigated the wayward behaviour of his party members who are washing their dirty linen in public. He gave a stern warning and advised party cadres to follow internal procedures to settle any form of wrong doing they feel has been done towards them as fighting in public would show signs of disunity and give the enemy mileage to destroy his party.
Terrific post. @deltakilo
